As part of the ongoing Socio-Economic, Educational, Employment, Political, and Caste (SEEEPC) Survey, over 11.10 lakh (45%) households have been surveyed within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits. LB Nagar leads the survey with over 50% completion, while the Secunderabad zone has the lowest participation at just 36%.

The survey began with basic data collection from November 6 to 8, followed by more detailed assessments starting November 9, covering aspects such as social, economic, educational, employment, political, and caste-related information. Out of 24.68 lakh households in GHMC, 11.10 lakh households were surveyed by November 18, and by the night of November 19, the total had increased to 12.59 lakh (51.84%).

Progress varies significantly across GHMC zones. LB Nagar leads with 50.50% completion, having surveyed 1.94 lakh of 3.84 lakh households, followed by Khairtabad (47.98%) and Kukatpally (46.50%). Secunderabad zone trails with only 36.54% participation, surveying 1.65 lakh of 4.51 lakh households.

Despite Secunderabad’s low participation, Charminar zone, located in Hyderabad’s Old City, has shown a strong engagement rate of 43%, reflecting a high willingness to participate in the survey. This data is crucial for understanding the socio-economic landscape of the city, and efforts are being made to ensure higher participation across all zones.

GHMC officials and supervisors are monitoring progress closely, focusing on areas with low participation to ensure a comprehensive and accurate survey.
